Pursuant to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the following is the Written Public Summary of the Monroe Charter Township’s FOIA Procedures and Guidelines relevant to the general public regarding how to submit written FOIA requests to the Township and explaining how to understand the Township’s written responses, deposit requirements, fee calculations, and avenues for challenge and appeal.
This is in accordance with Public Act 442 of the Public Acts of 1976, as amended.
These documents are also available for public viewing and inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the Monroe Charter Township Clerk at 4925 East Dunbar Road, Monroe, Michigan.
